The role:
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Business Partner to support a defined business area within SES, delivering high‑quality, inclusive recruitment aligned to approved resourcing plans.
This role combines hands‑on delivery with business partnering, working closely with hiring managers, HR colleagues and Talent Acquisition specialists to ensure recruitment activity supports both immediate hiring needs and longer‑term workforce plans.
You will act as a trusted recruitment advisor while remaining actively involved in sourcing, shortlisting and delivery, ensuring diverse candidate pipelines, strong stakeholder engagement and full process and governance compliance.
What you'll be doing:
- Build effective working relationships with hiring managers and HR colleagues within a defined business area
- Support the Senior TABP and HR Business Partners by providing market insight, candidate intelligence and recruitment data to inform resourcing conversations
- Contribute to recruitment planning discussions, supporting agreed workforce plans
- Ensure hiring managers understand recruitment processes, governance requirements and inclusive hiring best practice
- Act as a day‑to‑day recruitment contact for the business, escalating complex or strategic matters as appropriate
- Given the nature of this position, you will be required to undergo a Basic/Standard/Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at offer stage

Deliver recruitment activity in line with agreed hiring priorities and resourcing plans

Support workforce planning through vacancy insight, pipeline data and market intelligence

Take direct accountability for recruitment delivery within the agreed scope, including senior or business‑critical roles where required

Work closely with the Senior TABP to translate recruitment strategy into effective delivery plans

- Proven experience balancing hands‑on recruitment delivery with stakeholder and business partnering
- Strong direct sourcing capability and experience delivering diverse candidate pipelines
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes

- High standards of communication, organisation and governance
