SES Engineering Services are looking for a Senior Information Coordinator to join our Central Region, supporting high-profile, technically complex projects across a range of sectors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong interest in digital construction, information management and structured information delivery to play a key role in ensuring project teams have accurate, compliant and timely digital information at every stage of delivery.

If you are highly organised, confident working with Common Data Environments and passionate about raising standards across project teams, we would love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Senior Information Coordinator, you will support project teams and Information Coordinators with the management and control of digital information, including drawings, models and documentation, using Common Data Environments and related digital platforms.

You will help ensure project information is managed in line with internal requirements, BIM Execution Plans and relevant information management standards, including ISO 19650 where applicable.

The role is also critical to supporting a consistent, scalable approach to structured information and data, including the Golden Thread of Information.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead information quality assurance activities, including information validation, receipt, classification, workflow, distribution and retrieval.
  • Administer, implement and supervise Common Data Environments across project stages, supporting users with training and troubleshooting where required.
  • Track information deliverables against the Master Information Delivery Plan and Task Information Delivery Plans, highlighting risks, gaps and areas of non-compliance.
  • Establish, monitor and improve information exchange processes, including file naming protocols and structured information requirements aligned to relevant standards such as ISO 19650.
  • Act as a key point of contact for CDE and information management support across project teams, consultants, clients, suppliers and supply chain partners.
  • Configure and maintain project status reports and dashboards using reportable data such as information compliance, RFIs, technical submissions and other project information metrics.
  • Ensure information coordination activities align with the BIM Execution Plan and associated project documentation.
  • Support collaboration across digital, site and project teams to improve consistency, accuracy and timely information delivery.
  • Supervise and support Information Coordinators where applicable.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

KNOWLEDGE

Good understanding of CDE management and administration; document control; BIM and digital construction concepts; information management standards such as ISO 19650; information security awareness; and construction/design management processes.

Competence using Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint and Common Data Environments such as Dalux, Autodesk, Viewpoint for Projects, Aconex or Asite.

Ability to produce and interpret status reports using information and data sourced from project systems.

SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS

Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including the ability to train, troubleshoot and provide guidance as a subject matter expert.

Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage time effectively while supporting multiple project stakeholders.

Collaborative, self-motivated and flexible, with a continuous improvement mindset and willingness to embrace new tools, processes and ways of working.

Qualifications: Working towards a relevant Information Management certification is desirable.

WHAT WE OFFER
