The role: 

SES Engineering Services are looking for an Electrical Principal Technical Manager to join our SES South team focussing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

What you'll be doing: 

Our Principal Technical Managers are a valuable part of our business, and their role will encompass both work winning and the delivery of live projects whilst providing strong functional leadership, management, governance and excellence for all engineering activities pre and post contract, across either a single large project or portfolio of projects.   

 

As our Principal Technical Manager, you will:  

 

  • Be accountable for adherence to relevant business processes, undertaking Design Reviews, coaching of MEP Designers & management of technical actions. 
  • Attendance, contribution & collaboration regarding: - ‘Making a Great Start' & Strategy Presentations & IPD Workshops.    
  • Technical accountability for the mechanical engineering services for the project.  
  • Accountability for technical assessment, coaching and development of Preconstruction Leaders, Design Project Managers & Project Managers & Engineers. 

 

Given the nature of this position, you will be required to undergo a Basic/Standard/Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at offer stage
