ASSISTANT DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIST – SES
SES Engineering Services is looking for a talented Assistant Digital Technologist to join our Digital team, supporting the delivery of innovative digital products, technologies and solutions across our projects and programmes.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Assistant Digital Technologist at SES, you'll support the delivery and coordination of digital initiatives across a range of projects and programmes. Working closely with Digital Development Leads, Digital Standards Leads and project teams, you'll assist with the implementation of digital technologies, platforms and workflows that improve collaboration, efficiency and project outcomes.
You'll contribute to SES's Digital First strategy by supporting activities such as Common Data Environment (CDE) setup, digital workflow integration, automation routines, reporting, data visualisation and immersive technology deployment including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and Mixed Reality (MR).

As our Assistant Digital Technologist, you will:
- Support the delivery of digital products and solutions across SES projects and programmes.
- Assist with the setup, testing and implementation of digital technologies within Digital Buildings, Digital Developments, Digital Services and Digital Standards.
- Help deploy SES's Digital Transformation capabilities, including Common Data Environments (CDEs), low code applications, Artificial workflow and automation processes.
- Contribute to immersive technologies and visualisation solutions, including VR, AR, MR and 4D/5D simulations.
- Collaborate with project teams and digital specialists to integrate digital tools and workflows across engineering and technology disciplines.
- Support digital development activities through reporting, user feedback analysis and performance tracking.
- Assist with the rollout of SES's Digital First strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand digital requirements and support successful technology implementation and adoption.
- Help maintain digital continuity throughout project lifecycles, from design through to delivery and handover.
- Support the implementation of Digital Building technologies, including smart systems and sensor-enabled environments.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're interested in hearing from people who can demonstrate:
- An interest in digital engineering, digital construction, BIM, information management or related technologies.
- Awareness of low code applications, digital construction tools, data management processes and information standards – examples application include as Morta, Power Apps, Dalux, and Power BI
- Understanding of how technology can improve project delivery within construction and engineering environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and working practices.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.
- An interest in emerging technologies including digital twins, visualisation, automation and artificial intelligence.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with low code development using tools such as Morta or Power Apps.
- Exposure to Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Solibri or similar digital design platforms.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting and dashboarding tools.
- Experience of Common Data Environments and information management processes.
- Familiarity with VR, AR, MR, Twinmotion, Synchro, Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Awareness of Smart Building technologies and connected systems.
